Manage a Customer and Vehicle

Use this workflow when a new or returning customer brings a vehicle into your workshop.

Steps

  1. Search for the customer before creating a new record.
  2. Update contact details and notes if anything has changed.
  3. Add or open the vehicle record.
  4. Confirm registration, linked customer, and odometer.
  5. Review existing reminders and service history.
  6. Add documents or work logs after the job is complete.

Best practice

Keep customer-level notes about communication and vehicle-level notes about the vehicle. This makes records easier to scan later.
