Staff and roles control who can access your AxleLedger workspace and what they can manage.

Why it matters

Shared accounts make records harder to trust. Individual accounts help you understand who created work logs, who performed work, and who changed operational information.

Role approach

Use admin access for owners or managers responsible for settings, billing, and team management. Use operational roles for team members who need to manage customers, vehicles, reminders, work logs, and documents.

Best practices

  • Give each person their own account.
  • Review access when someone changes role or leaves the workshop.
  • Keep admin access limited.
  • Train staff on naming, notes, and work-log expectations before broad use.
